Judgement

Without being totally aware of it, our mind constantly judges.

Is like having an engine in our head that never stops running.

When we ask our mind to pause any act of judgment regarding anything now, we may discover a sense of loss or panic, as the mind is now wondering what to do.

Most of the judgment we have are the consequences of believe systems, they are unconscious as we have been programmed by culture and society to judge a certain thing the way we do. And that include us, we have a library of judgments we give ourselves and some are very negative.

Many of the things we judge, we have never questioned, we never took the time to observe the thing we are judging and so be able to see more aspects of this thing we are now observing, the same thing can look different if observed without judgments.

And so why this is so important?

As creators of our own reality, we need to understand that for each judgment we give, we produce a thought, and that thought will manifest in the physical reality, therefore the more open and less judgmental we can be, the more possibilities we are able to access.

How do we control this?

We start by observing the way we judge ourselves, as everything starts within ourselves, there is no others, we manifest our reality based on how we judge ourselves and consequently all that surround us.

Most of the time the way we judge ourselves is the consequence of opinions and judgment external from us, from young age we receive constant judgment from parents, schools, society and we end up thinking other people thought, we become totally disconnected from who we really are, we live suffocated by this heavy load unable to discern, and most of the time unaware of it, as those opinions of others about us resides in our subconscious mind, we just react to them not aware of it. And that determine also how we judge others.

Shifting from judges, to observers, is the key for clearing our system from anything that is not aligned with who we are.

Healing the chronic sense of unworthiness brings back curiosity and joy, and this has a positive effect to all aspect of our lives, and the way we relate to our environment, creativity and health can be harmonized.

I don’t judge I observe.

What is compassion?

I have always been struggling with the concept of Compassion, and I had never really experienced that emotion, probably my catholic cultural origins were influencing me to think or perceive compassion as pity, pietas Cristiana, a blind act of devotion, a way to experience oneness, forgiveness like God forgives.

As much as I could understand the good of it, I could never really experience the emotion of Compassion, profoundly in me.

It was difficult to be compassionate for someone that hurt me for instance, my Ego did not allow this concept in my system, I could try to be sorry for them or force myself to forgive, but then my emotions were still of injustice or hate, the Compassion was not kicking inn.

One day while reflecting on judgments, when I raised above, posing the mind, I could feel a sense of oneness, not with other humans though, but rather oneness with consciousness itself, and at that point I finally experienced Compassion.

When I observe something without judgments, when I elevate from the logical mind that constantly judge and categorize, to a neutral state of being, when I don’t engage emotionally about a situation but only observe it, I felt for the first time a compassion for myself and all there is.

In that elevated state we can access the Eternal knowing that we are consciousness manifesting itself in each of us in a unique way, that all is just an experience.

In that moment I realized that Compassion is a state of being.
